Atlanta has quickly become my second home, but now it’s time to say goodbye. I usually keep my posts short and focused on my clothes, but today’s post is dedicated to the city that I’ve grown-up and grown-into.
After college and wondering around the world, I found myself in Atlanta without a job in my early twenties. Since then, I’ve had two big girl jobs, fell in love a couple of times, and grown-up a lot. College are your formative years, but it’s the years right after that you learn so much about yourself and complete the change college started.
Atlanta is a great city for these early years. It’s just large enough to make you feel like you’re a small fish in a big pond and just small enough that even a small-town Tennessee girl can feel like she made it. It has great shopping, exciting nightlife, Southern hospitality, great food and beautiful green spaces!
At the end of every chapter are a lot of good memories, and I’ll need these memories to keep me warm as I head north to Washington, DC. If you’re a blogger in the DC area, please look me up! I’d love to get connected! I’m ready for this new adventure as I join the communications team at the British Embassy, explore a new city and start the next chapter in Kate Style Petite!
