I was concerned that the hype surrounding Rose’s Luxury would fall flat once I’ve eaten there, but I was surprised to not only be blown away by every dish but also by the charm of the place.
I would highly recommend Rose’s Luxury to others. The only drawback is that you have to plan ahead to be able to get a table. There is always a queue and a long wait. I went on a Monday in the winter and got to the restaurant as soon as their door opened. While it’s worth the effort, it’s not a spot I would regularly eat at because of the effort it takes.
If you follow me on Instagram, this first photo should be familiar. Yes, it’s just bread. Most restaurants provide bread while you wait for your food to come out. However, this bread is special because it came with whipped butter topped with bacon bits. The surprising way they served the butter with the bread is indicative of the Rose’s Luxury twists in each of their dish.

This sign says it all. It was hung up behind where we sat at the bar, which is the secret best spot in the restaurant. The bar is situated in front of the kitchen so you can see the chefs prep every dish.
